Class Action of the Month (European Government Bonds)
November 17, 2023
FRS’s “Class Action of the Month” for November 2023 is European Government Bonds.
Commencing in 2019, a class action lawsuit was filed alleging the Defendants and their co-conspirators conspired to fix the prices of European Government Bonds by agreeing to widen the bid-ask spreads they quoted to investors, thereby artificially increasing the prices investors paid for European Government Bonds or artificially decreasing the prices at which investors sold the bonds in violation of federal antitrust laws. If you or your business purchased or sold a European Government Bond from January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2016, you may be entitled to participate in the $40 MILLION recovered thus far in class action settlements. The claim filing deadline is November 28, 2023.
